ANDERSON, SC (WSPA) – Christmas Eve is one of Anderson Mall’s busiest shopping days of the year, especially for procrastinators. The mall opened 2 hours early for crowds.
Some of the biggest selling items this season are sherpa blankets and pullovers. Items with unicorns, sloths and llamas are popular for teens. Michelle Obama's book “Becoming” is topping holiday shopping guides, as well as air fryers and a Mario themed monopoly game.
"It's probably second to Black Friday,” Anderson Mall General Manager Chunsta Miller says. “People are flocking in to get those gifts. We have procrastinators throughout like myself and we are just excited to be able to offer that."
One of Anderson Mall’s biggest deals is at Dillard’s: a stand up Kitchen Aid mixer worth over $400 dollars for $179.
Anderson Mall is open from 8am-6pm Christmas Eve, is closed Christmas Day and is open from 8am-9pm Wednesday.
